National Wreaths Across America Day - December 18, 2021 at 10:00am - Wreaths Across America Fund

On December 18, 2021 at 10:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at Utah State Veterans Memorial Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. Many of us search each year for a way to thank you to our military or to make the world a more beautiful place during the holiday season. What better way to do both and honor our fallen service members, then to place a $15 wreath at their headstone? There are 5,355 graves that need a wreath. As of now 801 wreaths have been sponsored. We are only at 13% of the goal. Help make Utah State Veterans Memorial Cemetery look even better than Arlington Cemetery. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. From the Revolutionary War to present day conflicts, our veterans are devoted sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. They come from all backgrounds in life to place those lives on the line for our freedoms. There are millions of individual stories to tell. REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom. In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
